About the project
Progress to date55%
Phase II builds on the first phase by moving from classroom training to supervised practice in the participating laboratories. Each institute receives a tailored improvement plan covering equipment, procedures and uncertainty budgets.
A regional key comparison in the 1 kg to 20 kg range closes the project, giving every participant evidence of its measurement capability for recognition under the CIPM MRA.
Objectives
- Train metrologists in mass calibration and uncertainty evaluation
- Support each institute with an improvement plan and peer review
- Run a regional comparison and publish its report
